Abstract—This study aims at determining and to examining the factors of student selection decision on Nurul Fikri (hereinafter abbreviated NF) tutoring institutions in Padang City. The sampling was done by accidental sampling totaling 94 people who have chosen NF in Paandg City. Data collection was done by a survey using questionnaire method. Statistical methods chosen were descriptive analysis and explanatory factor analysis (explanatory factor analysis = EFA) by using SPSS version 21. The results showed that the factors affecting the decision of students choose NF were product, price, location, promotions, process, and physical evidence. The test results showed that the model of the factors formed a significant effect of the decision of students in choosing the NF institution

The Relation Leadership, Organization Culture and Work
Motivation on Employees Performance

Abstract. This research aimed to analysis the influence of leadership on organization culture, the influence of leadership, organization culture on work motivation and the influence of leadership, organization culture and work motivation on employees performance. This research used quantitive approach. The sample of research was the employees of department of energy and mineral resources of West Sumatera Province, which total were 87 employees. This research uses analysis technique of Partial Least Square (PLS). The research shown that leadership influenced of the organization culture and work motivation positively and significantly, then the organization culture also influenced the work motivation positively and significantly, then the work motivation also influenced the employees performance positively and significantly. Next, the leadership and organization culture influenced the employees performance through work motivation, or it could be said that the work motivation as the intervening variable. The Competence and Readiness of Teachers
in West Sumatra Indonesia in Implementing
Curriculum 2013

 Abstract. Curriculum 2013 requires teachers’ creativity, innovation and independence. The change of paradigm required teachers to move from teacher oriented to student oriented and also to pay attention on balance achievement among cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domain. The purposes of this research are to identify competence and readiness of teachers in secondary education in implementing curriculum 2013, as well as, to find the alternative program or problem solving activities to improve the competence and readiness of teachers to implementing curriculum 2013. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis with qualitative and quantitative approach by using instruments such as document collection, observation, questionnaires and in depth interviews. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis, document analysis, and interview analysis. The result of this research shows that teachers in secondary education in West Sumatra are competent and ready to implement the Curriculum 2013

Kurikulum 2013 menuntut kreatifitas, inovasi dan kemadirian guru. Perubahan paradigma guru yang dituntut adalah dari teaching yang teacher oriented menjadi aktifitas instruction yang student oriented dengan memperhatikan keseimbangan pencapaian kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan alternatif model pemecahan masalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan kesiapan guru dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013 pada masing-masing satuan pendidikan menengah SMA, SMK, MA di Sumatera Barat. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa dokumen, observasi, angket, dan wawancara mendalam. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini guru-guru di kota Padang sudah kompetens dan siap mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013. Untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan kesiapan guru untuk mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013 adalah dengan mengintensifkan kegiatan diklat dan kegiatan non diklat

Abstrak: Economics as social science which teaches how to think  rational, systematic, and precisely which aims to establish private economy capable of thinking in relation to themselves and their environment. In the learning strategies are needed that are designed specifically who can direct students to develop their thinking skills. Concept of Map is one alternative strategy to develop think skills students so that they can see the economy as a whole and relate to one another and to think systematically to illustrate concepts ranging from minor to major and then connected in such a way in a thinking maps.
